The ADHD Clinical Institute partners with David Lloyd Westbury on Trym to advance ADHD and neurodiversity awareness

15 June 20262 min read

The ADHD Clinical Institute is proud to announce a new partnership with David Lloyd Health Clubs in David Lloyd Westbury on Trym as part of our ongoing commitment to improving awareness, education, and understanding of ADHD, neurodiversity, and holistic wellbeing across local communities.

Through this new collaboration, we will be delivering free educational talks, awareness events, and expert-led discussions designed to increase understanding of neurodiversity and promote positive outcomes for neurodivergent individuals.

Our approach goes beyond traditional assessment pathways by recognising the important role that factors such as physical activity, nutrition, gut health, lifestyle, sleep, and overall wellbeing can play in supporting individuals with ADHD and other neurodevelopmental conditions.

Through this partnership, we aim to help the wider community better understand the value of a comprehensive and holistic approach to neurodevelopmental care.

The programme will be delivered by The ADHD Clinical Institute's multidisciplinary team, including experienced neuropsychiatrists, psychiatrists, clinicians, researchers, and lecturers who specialise in ADHD, autism, and neurodevelopmental health. Attendees will have access to the latest research, practical guidance, and information about available support pathways and services.

By partnering with David Lloyd Westbury on Trym, The ADHD Clinical Institute is extending its reach within the community, helping more people access trusted information, reduce stigma surrounding neurodiversity, and develop a greater understanding of the support available to neurodivergent individuals and families.

About The ADHD Clinical Institute

With over 20 years of teaching, experience, and expertise, we are driven by a commitment to help the ADHD community achieve their goals, deepen understanding of neurodiverse minds, and develop meaningful, effective support strategies.

Our training programme focuses on carrying out ADHD assessments using a holistic approach that covers all aspects of health. We recognise that overlap, masking, and co-existing factors can cause different presentations of neurodiversity, making diagnostic decisions complex and challenging.

Key Objectives

  • Increase awareness and understanding of ADHD and neurodiversity.
  • Provide free educational talks and community awareness events.
  • Share the latest evidence, research, and best practices in neurodevelopmental health.
  • Promote holistic wellbeing, including exercise, nutrition, gut health, and lifestyle factors.
  • Improve understanding of available support services and healthcare pathways.
  • Reduce stigma and encourage greater acceptance of neurodiversity.
  • Strengthen community access to trusted ADHD and neurodevelopmental expertise.
